Who this policy covers
This policy covers the FilmyBro.tv catalogue and its contact inbox. Questions can be sent to [email protected]. Third-party video players, image hosts and websites have their own practices and policies.
Information used by the catalogue
- Saved movies: My list stores movie IDs in your browser’s local storage. It is not a cloud-synced account. The current site also reads an older saved-list key so favourites survive our name change.
- Search and filters: the current catalogue filters movie data in your browser; it does not send your search text to a search-analytics service.
- Technical requests: visiting pages and loading posters or players exposes information such as your IP address, browser details and requested resource to the server receiving that request. Hosting and security providers may maintain technical logs.
- Messages: if you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include, such as your name, page URLs or attachments.
Why information is used
Saved movie IDs provide your watchlist. Technical information supports delivery, reliability, troubleshooting and abuse prevention. Contact information is used to respond to enquiries, correct catalogue issues and handle copyright or privacy requests. We do not ask for payment details or a viewer account to use the current catalogue.
Third-party players, posters and storage
Opening a watch page may load an external player before you press Play. Posters are also requested from external image hosts. Those providers can receive technical request information and may use cookies, local storage, advertising or measurement tools under their own policies. Their data handling is separate from ours; this policy does not promise that third-party playback is free of tracking.
The current Filmy Bro catalogue does not install its own advertising or analytics SDK. This does not control advertising or analytics inside external players.
Sharing, retention and international processing
Email and infrastructure providers process information to operate the service. Relevant details of a copyright complaint may be shared with a hosting provider or affected party when needed to assess or act on it. Information may also be disclosed where legally required.
Your watchlist remains on your device until you remove entries or clear site data. Contact records are kept as needed to address the request, document its resolution and meet applicable obligations; this policy does not promise a fixed automatic deletion period. External providers determine their own retention. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.
Your choices
You can remove saved movies from My list or clear this site’s browser storage. Blocking third-party cookies or players may affect playback. Avoid opening a watch page if you do not want its external player to load.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of information we hold. Email the contact address with enough detail to locate your request. We may need to verify your identity and cannot delete records held independently by another provider.
Children and security
The service is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, please contact us. We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes
We update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Material changes will be identified on the site where appropriate.
